About Armou

Armou is a lovely village just 5 minutes from Paphos town, with a commanding view of the Mediterranean Sea and mountains. It has a small beautiful community where the people there are open hearted and very friendly.

Armou is an ideal location for either permanent residency or as just a place to chill out and enjoy for holidays. It is largely un-spoilt and has all the charm of rural village life with a few local amenities, but is within easy reach of Paphos and all it has to offer.

Armou is a peaceful and tranquil Cypriot village in a hillside location at an altitude of 1500 feet above Paphos. It is just 10 minutes drive to the local beaches or the many bars and restaurants around the old harbour in Kato Paphos. There are numerous historical sites, walks, monasteries, flora and fauna locally, plus tavernas in Armou and nearby Marathounda and Konia.

There are 3 golf courses within a short drive and all of the services and attractions of Paphos just a few minutes away. Paphos airport is only a 20 minute drive away, Larnaca airport is approximately 90 minutes by car.

From January to March there is skiing less than 2 hours away on Mount Olympus in the Troodos Mountains.
